Asian goal line bets are, quite simply, an alternative way to bet on the number of goals scored in a f🐼ootball match. In essence, they offer refunds in certain ൲circumstances. Read on to learn more!

In short, an Asian goal line bet predicts the amount of goals that will be scored in a particular football match. It is a bit like an Over/Under bet, with the main difference being that Asian goal lines offer quarter and half goal options as well as full goal options and the op🦂portunity to get your stake refunded.

Importantly, this market is not the same thing as Asian handicap betting and Asian Corner betting. Instead, it's all about looking for a certain number of goals to be scored in a match. This 🥃can be higher than, lower than or equal to your predicted amount, irrespective of who scores the goals and which team won or lost.

Let’s say that you are placing a bet on over 2 goals being scored in a game of football. We do not need to concern ourselves with which teams will score, because this does not matter for this particular type of bet. Neither does the result or who wins. The only thing that we need to concentrate on is the number of goals.

If the game was to end 3-0, the Asian goal line bet of over 2.0 would win because there were indeed more than 2 goals in the game, as per our prediction. We wo💦uld not, however, collect any winnings if the game had ended in a 0-0 or a 1-1 draw. We would collect a stake refund in the latter’s case, as this would mean that 2 goals were scored in the match which matches the number of goals in our initial wager and is considered a push.

Full Goals

This is a simple case of winning if you were right and losing if you were wrong about the amount of goals scored in a match. The only thing to remember is that with an Asian goal line bet, your stake is returned if the amount of goals you predicted and the amount of goals scored are the sa🦄me. This is because the “win” part of the bet only occurs if more or less than that amount was scored (depending on your selection) and you bet the ri﷽ght way.

Half Goals

Asian goal line bets eliminate the draw option, so obviously, as the exact halfway point between two full goals, half goals mean that only two outcomes are possible. For example, with an over 1.5 goal line bet, there can either be more or less than 1.5 goals scored, meaning you can e💞ithe💯r win or lose.

Quarter Goals

To divide whole goals up even further, quarter goals are between a whole goal and a half goal. When you bet on a quarter of a goal in the Asian goal line market, your stake is split equally between a whole goal bet and the quarter goal. For example, if you place a £20 on over 2.25 Goals, then £10 goes towards the over 2 goals bet while the other £10 will go a wager on the over 2.25 selection. In🎃 the game, if there are only two goals scored, a push is created on the whole goal bet and your stake is refunded, but only this part of the bet is returned. Your stake on 2.25 will be deemed to be a loser and the bet is a half loss. Or, if you’re so inclined, a half win.

Say that you have placed a £10 wager on over 1.5 goals to occur in a match between Liverpool and Manchester United. Again, as with the quarter bet, this means that half of the stake will go towards the whole number and half towards the fraction. I꧟f the game ends 0-0, your bet is chalked🌟 up as a loser exactly as you would expect it to be. If the game ends 1-1 then a push is created and will refund half of the bet, but if one of the teams win 2-1, then both parts of the bet win.

The best way to win with a bet such as this is, and this is true for all betting, is to factor in all of the variables that can affec🌟t a typical game of foot🐠ball. This might mean knowing how well teams set out defensivꦰely, which might deter🔴mine whether you bet on the underside of the market. Or it could be how prolific up front a team is, in which case you might bet on there being a higher amount of goals hitting the back of the net.

The same is true of managers. Some have a reputation for being defensive and pragmatic, while others are well known for valuing high-scoring wins and set their teams out accordingly. In short, pay attention to th⛦e market an๊d do your bettor’s research.

The difference with traditional alternative goal line betting and Asian goal 𓃲line betting is that in the former you have three outcomes: over, under and exact amount of goals. In Asian goal line betting, however, you have just the two: over and under, with no exact amount of goals. If you backed over 2 goals and the game finishes with 2 goals, then it is considered a push and your stake is returned to you. If the game ended with less than 2 goals you lose, but if you correctly called that the game would end with more than 2 goals and it does, you are a winner.

No, this is not the same thing at all.

The d꧟ifference is mainly that Asian goal line Betting offers no exact amount option and doesn’t allow for draws.

No, it’s pretty simple really.

No – w🐠hilst th🍰is bet type is growing in popularity, it is still a little new for some bookmakers.

W▨e’re not going to lie to you – it would help. That said, a little research can more than make up for a shortfall in football knowledge, so the answer’s really no.

Big sports fan specialising in football. Experienced the lows of Vlad Chiriches and Tim Sherwood as a Spurs fan along with the more recent ‘success’ under Pochettino. My following of the New England Patriots since 2012 somewhat makes up ꧃for the lack of silverware produced by Spurs in my lifetime.
